Notice, for example, why your computer is old. Because it slowed down ? When you first buy personal computer, you entered the internet, you played the game, you used the printer normally. What has changed. The only change is that you have installed new generation heavy software on your old computer. In fact, it is not intended for that computers, or really not up to expectations despite heavy software is installed.

Note: Some spots may require mid-level Linux knowledge.
In fact, I would have to write puppy linux to the top. Because I used it longest over all the lighweight linux distros. There is not a lot features. The most important plus is when you start running a cd, Puppy is recorded on the RAM itself. When closing the computer, Puppy asks where computer saves settings. When working with the next cd, we can use the same settings. So do not even have to set up your computer.

Damn Small Linux that I’ve tried first over all the lightweight linux distros. First feature comes to my mind is that’s about 50MB and pioneers of this lightweight linux distros sector.
Arch Linux isn’t destined to use. Xfce desktop manager and use its own package management system is plus feature. Also I know Arch Linux is a very popular Linux distribution. So it has much more support.
Openbox is a desktop manager for the crunchang linux. Built on Ubuntu. But crunchbang linux have had some trouble to me. I guess the reason is that the team consisted of one developer.
