At least 1 mbps speed internet connection is not a privilege of citizenship in the Government of Finland. Next year all home and workplace will access to fast internet plans.

Transport and Communications Ministry says, all telecom operators should provide affordable and high quality connecitons per second that contain at least 1 mb speed internet access.

The Ministry of the government plan the start date is December 2010, but the withdrawal date in July, he said. According to the plan until the end of 2012, the center needs to raise rates at least 4 Mbps.
